Ingredients
- Chicken Wings: 2 lbs (about 20 pieces)
- Salt: 1 tsp
- Black Pepper: 1/2 tsp
- Paprika: 1 tsp
- Garlic Powder: 1 tsp
- Cornstarch (optional, for extra crispiness): 1 tbsp
For the glaze:
- 12 oz. Bottle of Original Juke Joint Sauce
To garnish:
- Chopped chives or parsley: 2 tbsp
- Ranch or blue cheese dressing: For dipping
Instructions
1. Prepare the chicken wings:
- Pat the wings dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
- Toss them with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and cornstarch (if using).
2. Bake the wings:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Place the wings on a wire rack over a baking sheet lined with foil.
- Bake for 20 minutes, flip the wings, and bake for another 20 minutes until crispy and golden.
3. Glaze the wings:
- Toss the baked wings in Juke Joint Sauce until evenly coated.
4. Broil for caramelization:
- Place the glazed wings under the broiler for 2-3 minutes to create a sticky, caramelized finish.
5. Serve:
- Garnish with chopped chives or parsley and serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
